DORSET Vintage and Classic Auctions’ summer sale on July 9 will offer four examples from three of Britain’s most famous motoring manufacturers.
Lovers of post-vintage thoroughbred cars will be catered for by a superb 1933 Aston Martin 1½-litre long chassis 4-seat tourer; this important Aston has participated in numerous competitions from as early as 1938 and will be offered with an extensive history, spare parts and a guide price of £125,000 to £135,000.
A 1937 Rolls-Royce Phantom III Sedanca De Ville by Windovers heads the prestige line-up at DVCA’s sale. An exceptional example, the Rolls-Royce has also had a fascinating history and, having been the subject of a lavish restoration, it remains in immaculate condition. The Phantom III has an estimate of £110,000 to £130,000.
DVCA will offer two examples from the historic brand of Bentley: a 1963 S3 LWB Saloon with an excellent history, resplendent in Mistletoe Green (guide: £20,000–£22,000) and a stylish Turbo R Saloon from 1995 that is supplied with a full service history and has a guide of £10,000 – £12,000.
Entries are still being accepted for DVCA’s summer sale at Athelhampton House, near Dorchester, DT2 7LG. For further information, contact Brian Chant on 01963 363353 or visit dvca.co.uk.
