The new BMW 2 Series Gran Tourer is the first premium compact model to offer up to seven seats. It comes with a choice of five turbocharged petrol and diesel engines, with either three or four cylinders.
Renault has expanded its range of multi-award-winning performance models with the introduction of GT 220 versions of the Mégane Hatch, Coupé and Sport Tourer. They are powered by a 220hp version of the Renaultsport 2.0-litre turbo engine.
The build of the second Mark 2 by Callum is underway at the headquarters of leading restorers Classic Motor Cars of Bridgnorth (CMC). The first car, a Mark 2 redesigned by Jaguar’s Design Director Ian Callum and re-engineered by CMC for his own personal use, was unveiled last August. This will be the second of a limited run of 12 cars.
The all-new 367PS Audi RS 3 Sportback is now en route to the UK, the most powerful compact hatchback currently in series production. Capable of a 4.3-second 0-62mph sprint time and potential top speed of up to 174mph, the new five-door, five-seat Sportback will cost £39,950 OTR. It will be available to order in March and reach its first UK customers in the summer.

Two new models are being added to the Alfa Romeo MiTo range in 2015. Progression is the new entry-level specification; the new Junior model evokes spirit of the widely-revered 1966 original and is available either with a 0.9-litre TwinAir 105hp turbo petrol engine or a 1.3-litre JTDM-2 85hp turbo-diesel. Both models are on sale now, with prices starting at £12,760 for the Progression and £14,870 for the Junior TwinAir.
