A 1961 Jaguar E-Type ‘Flat Floor’ Roadster which has lain dormant in a garage for more than 30 years is to be restored by Classic Motor Cars of Bridgnorth (CMC). This car was the 60th to leave the production line and is one of the earliest 3.8-litre right-hand-drive E-Type roadsters, which remain un-restored with only 65,000 miles covered from new. It was expected to make £20-30,000 at Bonhams’ RAF Museum sale on April 29 but sold for £110,000.
Volkswagen is celebrating its Scirocco sports coupé breaking the one million unit production mark by introducing a special edition version. On sale in Germany and China only, the Scirocco Million is available in black, with a number of distinctive styling features.
