A JAGUAR E-Type roadster is one of the star cars in the Charterhouse auction of classic and vintage cars, being held at the Royal Bath & West Showground on Sunday 4th November.
“The Jaguar E-Type has to be one of the most sought-after cars in the market place and you can see why it caused such a stir when it was released in 1961,” said Matthew Whitney, car specialist at the Sherborne-based auctioneers.
The 1974 roadster is entered from a client in Devon. It has been in the same family ownership since 1995 and has been well looked after. Originally finished in Old English white, it is now painted in primrose yellow and is estimated to sell for £20,000 to £30,000.
