The Panamera takes its styling cues from the curvaceous 911 and its sexy offspring and is light years away from Porsche’s gigantic Cayenne, a grotesque gas-glugger that cocks a snook at moderation in these trying times.
German to its fingertips, Porsche’s latest work of art gets its power from a range of V6 and V8 engines, has rear-wheel or optional four-wheel-drive and will later be offered with a more economical hybrid engine. It will be starring on Europe’s catwalks this summer.
MM verdict: Genuinely gorgeous supercar with room for the family.
