But Kia are calling the all-new Soul their most significant ever model, a compact combination of the versatility and space of a 4×4 with the recession-conscious running costs of a family runabout.
It will be on sale here in the spring with a choice of 1.6-litre petrol or diesel engines, masses of built-in ‘extras’ and, undoubtedly, a price tag that will appeal.
