I’ve never quite understood the Americans’ idea of good looks – take Julia Roberts, for instance – and their cars are a classic example.
Cadillac say their new CTS Sport Wagon has cutting-edge styling illustrating their ‘art and science’ philosophy; I reckon it looks like it’s been designed by a committee that couldn’t agree.
They’re also suggesting that, when it hits UK showrooms in a year’s time, it will be a viable alternative to the SUV market. With a huge 3.6-litre engine, it may find few converts.
MM verdict: hard to think who’d buy it.
